I received my BS in Biology and Minor in Animal Science from the University of Maryland College Park and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine.
I currently live with my husband, two children, one dog (Tinkerbell is pictured) and three cats (Polly, Rover and Eddie New Cat). In my spare time I enjoy cooking, travelling and attending my children's sporting events; in particular Ice Hockey Games, Basketball and Horse Shows.
I am mostly a native of Washington DC but spent my early childhood overseas in Indonesia, Malaysia and Turkey. My parents knew I would become a Veterinarian ever since I was 3 years old when I found and carried around a deceased snake in a plastic bag for a week. After graduating from Veterinary School, I have worked in the DC area in McLean, Georgetown and Potomac. I was at Collins from 1996-2004 and returned in 2012 when my children were in school full time.
